On Saturday, September 22, the National Down Syndrome Society will kick off Down Syndrome Awareness Month and the New York City Buddy Walk® in the heart of Times Square with a video presentation featuring more than 200 individuals with Down syndrome from across the world.  How cool is that?!

The contest will run from May 1 – July 13 and winners will be contacted the week of August 1. Visit the Times Square Video Submission Page on the Buddy Walk site to submit a picture of your child!

I submitted this cute picture of Molly.  Maybe we’ll get lucky and be included in this year’s presentation!

This is such a great way to spread awareness about Down syndrome.  And it certainly doesn’t get any bigger than being in Times Square!
