This past weekend, I did something that was long overdue…. I got a haircut and highlights!

In two weeks, I’ll be leaving for BlogHer’12 and I wanted to make sure I had a new ‘do to go along with it! Here’s my before/during self-portrait.  No shame in my game…

Am I the only one that gets really sleepy when they are at the beauty salon?   It’s all I can do to stay awake sitting in that chair.  For some reason, I find it so relaxing!

Anyways…  here’s the self-portrait that I took in the car right after I got my new ‘do. Nothing drastic, but I do feel better!

I promise, I’m happy in this picture…and that I love my new ‘do!  Are you going to BlogHer’12?  How are you getting prepped for the trip?
