I recently learned that October is Fire Safety Month.   And thanks to the folks at Firehouse Subs, I wanted to share this great video with you about how to properly use a fire extinguisher.  I’ve never used one… have you?

Firehouse Subs isn’t just about great food, they also believe in community.  During the month of October, the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation recognized Fire Safety Month with medallions placed throughout stores, recognizing local heroes.

Patrons can show their support for fire prevention and safety, by purchasing their own $1 or $5 medallion.  In October 2010, Fire Safety Month raised over $211,000 for first responders!
