French fries, chicken and ketchup. It’s Maggie’s ‘go to’ answer when I ask her what she wants to eat. With that said, we visit our local Chick-fil-A restaurant often. We are a family that tends not to stray from our favorites – we order the same thing each time, nuggets!
However, I recently had the opportunity to check out Chick-fil-A’s new grilled menu items and I now have an entire list of new items I love.
Sandwiches and Wraps
As part of the grilled menu, the new sandwiches now feature a new multi-grain bun. The cool wraps are also multi-grain too and just as tasty. Be sure to try it with the Avacodo Lime Ranch dressing. My personal favorite of the new line is the Grilled Chicken Club sandwich with Colby-Jack cheese and applewood smoked bacon. Be sure to ask for some honey roasted BBQ sauce to add to the sandwich too – it’s fantastic. The Grilled Chicken sandwich comes with lettuce and tomato. Both sandwiches are so juicy, they come in a wrapper – grab some extra napkins.
As are all of the grilled items on the new menu, the nuggets are marinated with sea salt, lemon, garlic and savory herbs and 100% chicken breast meat. All of the items have a great smoky flavor to them too. Without telling my kids, I made the switch to grilled nuggets – and they noticed a difference in taste and texture but liked them! You can now order grilled nuggets as part of the kids meals too. It’s an easy and healthier switch.
If you’re in the mood for salad – the Chick-fil-A Grilled Market Salad is served with strawberries, apple slices, blue cheese crumbles and plenty of tasty grilled chicken. Of course, you can get any of those items left off the salad if you wish – just let them know. I was very impressed with the apple cider vinaigrette paired with this salad. It’s definitely something I’ll have on a regular basis and almost big enough for two meals.
There really isn’t a bad thing on the menu. I love that when I visit now, I have to stop and decide what I want – and it’s always a toss-up between the Grilled Chicken Club sandwich and a salad.
A few other new things worth mentioning -the online meal calculator allows you to track nutritional totals and in each store you’ll now find the calorie counts are now posted on the menu board.

** I attended a local Chick-fil-A event to learn about the new grilled menu. I received a few meals and gift card for participating. Thoughts and opinions here are 100% my own. **
