Five Question Friday! – November 5

by Carrie with Children with 4 comments
Happy Friday! Doing anything fun this weekend? We’ve got family coming over on Saturday for Maggie’s mini-birthday party and Sunday we’ve got company coming to visit!  I should probably start cleaning my house.
Enough of my small talk, let’s get to the questions!  Play along and share your answers if you don’t have a site to link below.
If you could have any talent and turn it into an occupation, what would it be? My husband has turned me into a foodie.  He loves to cook and it’s something I’d love to do better.  One day when we win the lottery, my husband is going to culinary school and we are opening a restaurant!

Would you rather have a house at the beach or a cabin in the woods? This one is a toss-up.  I’m not a big fan of the beach (yes, I know, I live in Florida) and if you live in the woods you have to deal with creepy-crawly bugs, bears, etc.  So….tough decision, but I’m going with the beach.  The view is nicer.
Is there any meaning or reasoning for the names you chose for your child/children? I wanted our girls to have good, strong Irish names and thankfully, my husband agreed.  However, I recently learned that the names Maggie and Molly are very popular for another reason.  Read all about it in this prior post
What is your guilty pleasure? Is it boring if I tell you that mine is ice cream?  It doesn’t even make a difference to me what brand or flavor…I have a weakness for anything related to ice cream.
Do you live in a house that is deep cleaned or straightened? Is this a trick question?  I have a four month old, a just recently turned two year old, a dog, a cat and a husband.  Mine is usually neither but I like to think it’s straightened for a few hours each night after everyone goes to bed.

Well I would love to different themed parties-example when Leland turned 2 since he likes trains we did a train themed birthday party.
I too have a toss up between beach and mountains because I love both equally I guess when I win the lottery I will buy a place in both places.
There really isn't a reason why I named my children except Holly Noelle was actually due Christmas day but due to complications she was born on October 30. Daniel Ronald was I guess a family related name-Ronald being my husband's name.
My guilty pleasure is definitely LOBSTER-just call me a lobster queen.
My house is definitely not deep cleaned and I'll just leave it at that-I have hoarding issues.:)

I love to cook too. My husband is the better cook in some areas. When he first came to America he worked in a very upscale Italian restaurant and learned so many good recipes. I love when he takes over in the kitchen! It doesn't happen as much as it used to though! I love your girls names..but…. my aunt used to have a dog named Maggie.. I never would have even remembered that if I hadn't clicked on that post! But they are still beautiful names..don't worry about it! And it does sound like you have a busy weekend!! Love your blog!

SCM- Glad that I'm not the only one who has a dirty house 🙂
