I’m excited to share our most recent toy discoveries!  We recently had the opportunity to review the cute Peek-A-Boo Baby from Goldberger Toy and the  Shopping Cart Dash game courtesy of Pressman Toys.

The Peek-A-Boo Baby, made by Goldberger Toy,  is a perfect introductory doll for toddlers.  This cuddly baby calls out “Peek a boo, I see you.  Peek A Boo, I love you.” when you place her hands over her eyes. Her cute little cheeks light up too – precious!  She is recommended for children ages one year and older, which I feel is appropriate.  Even though she is made of high quality, soft material she’s a pretty good sized doll.  We enjoyed playing with her, especially since peek-a-boo is one of Maggie’s favorite games to play!  We experienced some good laughs together!  As a mom, I appreciate that this doll is machine-washable (once the batteries are removed, of course) and that it comes with a lifetime guarantee!  That’s every mom’s dream toy!

I love the Shopping Cart Dash game from Pressman Toys – it’s educational, fun and it’s about shopping!  This fun race to the finish that involves matching items, counting and rolling of the die. I was impressed with the quality of the cute, little shopping carts – it even comes with sturdy wheels, perfect for racing!  I knew prior to receiving this game that it was targeted for children ages three and up, but thought we’d give it a try anyways.  While it was a little advanced for Maggie (she’s only 27 months old) – she has enjoyed learning the foods on the playing cards, along with shouting out the colors of the plastic coins.   Overall, it’s a really great game.  As I’m sure you’ve noticed in my past reviews – I’m a huge fan of educational toys and this is definitely one of them!
