Where would you travel if you had a Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid to use for a week? While at SheCon’11 this past weekend, I had the opportunity to meet the Chevy Florida team and they presented me with that question. It’s a lot tougher than you think to answer!
This Summer, my husband’s cousin is getting married in Virginia. Our girls have never met my husband’s extended family….and for that matter, neither have I! Crazy, I know..but it’s true! From my estimation, the trip from Florida will take us about 11 hours, but really that’s nothing considering it would be everyone’s first meeting!
During our Summer road trip to Virginia, I’m hoping that we can spend the night halfway in Myrtle Beach. I have some old college friends that live there and I would love to see them. Plus, they could meet my girls too! (I mean, really…who doesn’t want to meet cute kids?!)
I don’t know much about hybrid vehicles. Yet, I’ll admit I’m even more intrigued after learning the Chevrolet Tahoe is available as a hybrid model. From my research, hybrid cars decrease CO2 gas emissions and are extremely fuel-efficient. In addition to all of the fantastic environmental benefits, the extra traveling space in a Chevrolet Tahoe would give us so much more freedom while traveling. It can seat up to eight people…imagine all the extra luggage and toys we could pack into a Chevy Tahoe!
If you had a Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid for the week….where would you go? Somewhere far or just take a vacation in your own backyard? Tell me!

I would take it to Washington, D.C. in June where my husband will be doing a triathlon in honor of his father who is suffering with Alzheimer’s. He has had a special tri-suit designed acknowledging Alzheimer’s and specifically, his father, and it will be a very meaningful trip to our nation’s capital! Traveling there in the Chevy Tahoe Hybrid would make it even more special!

Peyton – What an inspiring story! Please keep me posted on your trip, your husband’s triathlon and most of all your father-in-law.
