This past Thursday night for Cinco de Mayo, along with the enchiladas I made for dinner, we had the opportunity to try the new Tostitos Dip Creations fresh guacamole dry dip mix paired with the newly released Tostitos Multigrain Scoops! tortilla chips. It was a tasty meal for this foodie-in-training and if you overlook the layers of cheese on the enchiladas it was a pretty healthy meal too!
The Tostitos fresh guacamole dip recipe calls for three avacodos and one packet of the Dip Creations dry dip mix. Blend up the ingredients and you’ve got a tasty and colorful snack. I was really impressed with the vibrant colors of the dip. The dry mix gave the dip an extra kick of flavor and I love that it’s made with fresh avocados.
The new Tostitos Multigrain Scoops are made with whole grains. We usually buy the regular Tostitos Scoops, but after trying the multigrain Scoops, I could easily make the switch. There was a slight (yet, good) taste difference and every little bit helps when trying to eat healthy!
After dinner, my husband was headed out the door for poker night with his buddies. Being the nice wife that I am… I packed up the leftover chips and dip for him to share with the guys. He said they were all very impressed with the Dip Creations and the chips too. One of the guys suggested that he thought the dip would be great as a spread on a sandwich! (Interesting!) They loved their snack so much, I guess I’m going to be in charge of sending snacks more often!
Frito-Lay recently committed to making 50% of its product portfolio with all natural ingredients – meaning no artificial flavors or preservatives and no MSG. This includes all SunChips multigrain snacks, Lay’s potato chips and the Cinco de Mayo staple, Tostitos tortilla chips!
Be sure and check out this New Age Guacamole recipe that includes the Dip Creations seasoning mix. I love cilantro, I’m excited to give this recipe the next time we have taco night!
Have you tried the new Tostitos Dip Creations or their new Multigrain Scoops yet? What did you think of them?!

We like the MultiGrain chips. Not many guac fans in the house, but we love chips and salsa!
