New 2011 Destinations for Adventures by Disney!

Adventures by Disney announced two additional destinations today for the 2012 travel season – Greece and Northern France.  These guided tours allow families to discover new destinations – Disney style!

The Greek Odyssey adventures takes families through Athens, Crete and Santorini – discovering mythology and more at the Parthenon as well as a visit to the birthplace of the modern Olympics.  Kids can even experience stomping grapes as adults take part in a wine tasting adventure.  It sounds like an amazing trip to me!

In Crete, guests are immersed in mountain culture with lessons in cheese making, herding and Greek dancing

The Northern France adventure visits Château du Clos Lucé, da Vinci’s last known home as well as a visit to Monet’s Gardens to create your own artwork!  It doesn’t get much more inspiring than that when it comes to artwork!  The highlight of the trip to me?  A visit to the American cemetery in Omaha Beach commemorating the 1944 D-Day invasion.

Junior Adventurers explore Château du Clos Lucé, the last known residence of Leonardo da Vinci

Check out the scoop on these new enhanced itineraries now available with current trips –

Discovery Down Under” Australia and Tasmania – the action-packed Australian adventure will now include a visit to the island of Tasmania featuring a Eucalyptus forest zipline experience, an introduction to traditional cuisine at Kate’s Berry Farm and Meadowbank Winery as well as a visit to the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to meet the infamous Tasmanian Devil.

Grandiosos Galapagos Galapagos Islands – Now families can spend more time discovering the flora and fauna of Darwin’s famous islands with seven nights aboard the Galapagos Explorer cruise ship. Guests will have the opportunity to swim and snorkel with sea lions and penguins and come face to face with giant tortoises.

Cities of Knights and Lights London and Paris – Adventures by Disney’s classic European itinerary now features an exquisite trip to the British Countryside where guests can play British lawn games and receive royal treatment on a privately-guided tour of Windsor Castle.

With 22 trips throughout six continents, visit  Adventures by Disney site for details, dates and rates.

So, which adventure would you choose for your family?  I’d love to go on the Espirit de France and explore the countryside.  What about you?

Greece is amazing and I’d love to go back again. I’ve heard so many amazing things about ABD trips. It’s definitely how I envision traveling the world with our children while they are younger.
