Five Question Friday – November 11

by Carrie with Children with 3 comments

Today is Veteran’s Day!  Thank you to all that have served our great country….and to all of those that are still serving.

Also, today is 11/11/11.  Is this considered a ‘lucky day’ or a ‘bad luck day’?

Just a reminder, I’m linking up with others for Five Question Friday and I don’t make up the questions. Click on the button above to see a linky list of others also participating. Be sure and share your answers below too!

What’s the last thing you spent too much money on? We just bought a new computer printer last week.  It’s an all-in-one HP and we probably spent too much money on it… but I love it.  It’s wireless, prints, scans, copies, faxes (although, who really faxes anymore?).  I’m excited to get caught back up on printing coupons again!

What celeb chef would you want to make you dinner? I love, love, love Paula Deen.  Southern food is my version of heaven.  One day, I’ll tell you the story about my bachelorette party in Savannah, Paula’s hometown.  It was so fun!

Where do you hide things when visitors pop over or do you let them see the real deal? Not sure I like the way this question is phrased.  However, all the toys is typically the problem in our house… so nope, most people just get the real deal.

Who is your oldest living family member? My Papa turned 87 last week!  He’s an amazing man and I love him very much!

What is your favorite DQ treat and/or Sonic drink combo? This is probably the easiest question I’ve ever answered for Five Question Friday.  Dairy Queen = Butterfinger Blizzard.  Sonic – Cherry Coke..with the cherry juice!  Yum!

Such a cute post. I love Paula Deen too. I own every imaginable cook book from her!

Paula Deen would be so much fun. She cracks me up every time I watch her show 🙂

The last thing I spent too much money on was my dogs – it’s always my dogs. They’re ridiculous spoiled and if you walk in our house with a bag, they go for it think it’s toys for them. When we open the freezer door, they take position (on their blankets) as they await the ice cream that must be coming.

I don’t care who the chef is as long as they can make southern food. We had an amazing restaurant near us that we went to 3x a year and they closed and I miss the food so much.

We just toss the dog toys on their bed and in their toy box. Everything else goes into my photography studio.

One of my grandmothers – but I’m not sure which one. I’m a horrible relative that doesn’t keep in touch with anyone. My family is pretty negative.

I don’t eat out at fast food places. Strange, I know.
