At the time of writing this post, the Florida Lottery Powerball is currently at $245 million dollars. With the drawing taking place on Wednesday evening, it will likely be over $250 million soon. I can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like to have that kind of money.
If I won, I would donate a majority of my winnings and pay of my bills, but that had my thinking…what about the fun stuff? With our (hopefully winning) lottery tickets in hand, that got my husband and I dreaming about where we would travel if we won.
We’ve had a Disney vacation on our minds lately, so the first place we decided we would go was to Walt Disney World. My husband took it a step further when he wondered what the capacity was for the Magic Kingdom…maybe we’d just invite everyone to go with us! (Speaking of…anyone know the actual capacity?)
I’m going to keep working on my travel wishlist over the next few days…just in case!
So, here’s my question to you…..
If you won the lottery……where would you travel? Who would you take with you?

No doubt about it, I’d buy a property at Golden Oaks at Disney World. And then I’d also take a long luxury European cruise and spend a week or two in Ireland. Oh, and I’d do a cross-country road trip in a sweet RV

Yes! Golden Oaks for sure! Wow, that place looks amazing! A cross-country road trip in an RV is also on my “to do” list… is it bad that I want a chauffeur though? 🙂

I honestly would hit all the Disney’s on Earth! I think that would be awesome. I would also make sure I hire someone to home school Chloe so we could go doing the slow seasons. Then of course I would go somewhere romantic with Dave. Gosh my list could go on and on!

Well, the first thing I would do is fly us out to Hawaii! A few weeks at Aulani, perhaps? 😉
I would definitely buy a home at Golden Oaks at Disney.
Then, my absolute dream is to tour Europe. Since Heath won’t fly over there, we would take one of those cruises! I’ve looked at the itinerary before, so amazing!

Once the money is in the bank – I pay off bills, give lump sums to parents, grandparents, uncle, brother. Set up an annual donation for a few charties I support. Set up a college fund. And then…
Shop at Banana Republic, Old Navy, Nine West, Coach, Ann Taylor Loft, Lucky, Best Buy, and the Sony Outlet Store.
We’d travel to Hawaii and buy a home in Eastern Washington and possibly Arizona.
And I’d quit my job.
