Yay for Friday! I’m slowly making my way through the Christmas list and hoping to finish up my shopping soon! What about you? Let’s get to this week’s Five Question Friday. ….
Just a reminder, I’m linking up with others for Five Question Friday and I don’t make up the questions. Click on the button above to see a linky list of others also participating. Be sure and share your answers below too!
What is your favorite Christmas cookie? I’m not sure I have a favorite Christmas cookie…but I do have a favorite Christmas dessert/treat. My great aunt Gwen makes these amazing caramel and white chocolate covered pretzels rolled in peanut shavings each year. Unbelievably delicious! When I was a kid, she would always pack me up a “to go” bag of them, I loved them that much.
What’s your favorite holiday movie and why? I asked this question the other day on the Carrie with Children Facebook page. (Are you following there? You should be!) I originally said National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation…but then someone mentioned ELF and I changed my answer. I love, love, love Will Ferrell.
Is there a gift that you bought for your kids that you wished you hadn’t after they opened it? Ummm…nope!
What is the messiest room in your house right at this moment? Maggie’s room is a MESS! Her newest hobby is changing clothes (more on that for another blog post soon). She keeps going through both her dressers trying on all her clothes..then just leaves them in the floor. Not to mention her play kitchen is in her room too…there is play food everywhere!
What is the furthest you’ve driven for the holidays? My family is all from Alabama (Roll Tide)…so that’s where we always spent Christmas growing up as kids! It was only about a six hour drive, not too bad!

It must be a little girl thing, to want to change your clothes, I did the same thing as your daughter when I was about her age and it drove my neat freak mom crazy LOL. Neither one of my boys care what I put on them, as long as it is comfy they could care less 🙂

Yep – it’s certainly a girl thing! I have no idea what clothes are in what drawers anymore! 🙂 Thanks for reading today, Hannah!

Those pretzels sound yummy.
Both are excellent movie choices.

I think this is going to be the Christmas where I try to recreate those pretzels! I’ll keep you posted on my results. Thanks for reading, Becky!
