Show Me Your Christmas Tree Blog Hop! *Linky*

I thought it might be fun to spread Christmas cheer by hosting a “Show Me Your Tree” blog hop! Grab the blog hop button for your own site (so folks can find the linky list), then link up your Christmas tree/decorations post below…. and start hopping!

Carrie with Children

Call me crazy, but we put a baby gated fence (affiliate link) around our Christmas tree. With a three-year old, an eighteen-month old, a nosy dog and sneaky cat – this fence is a live saver!  It may not be pretty to some, but for now – it works for us.

This was the first year that Maggie was actually interested in helping decorate the Christmas tree.  She got so carried away with the ornaments, that most of them are all bunched up on one side….at toddler height!

I still haven’t decided if I’m going to rearrange our ornaments to make them a little more even or just leave them as is.  Maggie is so proud of her decorating skills that I feel bad moving them!

Be sure and grab the button and link up your Christmas tree/decorations post!

This link will stay open through Christmas night….. so keep checking back!

Your button code did not work for me but I still added the button and made it link to this page.

Love this idea! I haven’t posted pictures of our Christmas tree yet, but I’m tempted to now. I think your idea of the baby gate was genius, most of our ornaments are plastic but the cat keeps shaking them all off. This might’ve worked for us…then again, our cat would probaly get in there anyway. It would’ve been great when the kids were younger though- definitely!

[…] Is your Christmas tree plain and simple (white lights and matching ornaments) or wild and crazy (colored lights with ornaments collected throughout the years)?   We let Maggie put the ornaments on the tree this year.  It’s a little lop-sided…most of the ornaments are at her eye level and they are all on one side.  Only white lights on my tree!  Here’s my post showing off my tree.  […]
