Disney Junior 24-Hour Channel Premieres March 23

Have you heard the big news about Disney Junior?  Starting Friday, March 23 – Disney Junior will have its own 24-hour channel!  And with a new channel, also comes new programming too!

The Disney Junior channel will be available via major cable and satellite providers Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cablevision, Bright House Networks and Verizon, among others.

I’m a DirectTV subscriber and I’m so sad to see they have not added Disney Junior channel to their lineup.  If your cable/satellite provider isn’t listed, be sure and fill out the form at DisneyJuniorTheChannel.com to let your provider know you’d like them to add the channel!  I already sent in the form with my request and I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

In addition to all the regular favorite – the new programming for the 24-hour Disney Junior channel sounds fantastic!  I’m especially excited about the premiere of “Doc McStuffins” – about a six-year old girl who communicates with and heals stuffed animals and toys in her backyard clinic.  The show is described to highlight taking care of one’s self and others all while incorporating fantasy and fun!

With a variety of family-friendly programming in the works, I’m very excited for the new channel to kick off on March 23rd!  My girls are going to love it!

    From a very concern Grandfather,
I really hope that you at DirecTV can find a way
to carry Disneyjuniorthechannel not only for my grandchild, but for me as well. We both truly
enjoy watching the Disney channel in the a.m. Since
SoapNet is leaving the air, fill it with this new Disney channel.
Thanks, and I hope something can be worked out.
