Five Question Friday – February 3

by Carrie with Children with 4 comments

Hooray it’s finally Friday…and it’s time for Five Question Friday!  Do you have any big plans for the Super Bowl this Sunday? I think we are probably staying home – no big plans for us.  Okay, let’s get to the questions..be sure and share your answers below!

Just a reminder, I’m linking up with others for Five Question Friday and I don’t make up the questions. Click on the button above to see a linky list of others also participating.

What have you done recently that you are proud of?  I guess I should have probably written a post about it last week, but…  I gave a thirty minute presentation last week to a local public relations group about blogging and PR/blogging relations.  I worked really hard on the overall presentation and I think it went pretty well!

What is your favorite way to work out? Or, if you don’t work out what are you wanting to try?  Funny that this is a question this week. I just cancelled our gym membership yesterday!  We hadn’t used it in months and so we were just wasting our money away each month.  Since I grew up as a dancer, I used to love doing Zumba at our gym.  A great way to exercise and dance too!

If you knew your best friend was cheating on their spouse, would you tell?  Of course I would!

If  you could hire a live-in maid or nanny, would you have one?  I would LOVE love LOVE to have a housekeeper!  Not necessarily a live-in maid though.  Just someone to come once a week to clean would be amazing!  I definitely wouldn’t want a nanny. Yes, things are tough sometimes, but that’s just part of being a mama!

Do you stress out about birthdays (specifically the age) or do you enjoy them?  I enjoy birthdays!  No need to worry about the number, but just celebrate another year!  As long as their are cupcakes involved…I’m a happy girl!

Nothing really to be proud of yet but got plans when I retire end of this month to do more.
Have never liked working out-don’t like sweating and as one gym teacher said once- horses sweat!ladies glisten! Not a fan of the glistening smell!
Yes I would tell my best friend if her spouse was cheating.
I would love love love a housekeeper no not a live in and never a nanny. I love being a mom and Mimi.
No I don’t stress about the age-we’re not getting older we’re getting better-like fine wine.

    I wouldn’t want a nanny either! But a maid– yes please ;)!

I’m proud of how I’ve handled negative feedback. Someone “shame on you” me on one of my Facebook pages and I was able to turn her right around in no time. I love that I don’t run from conflict anymore.

I love boxing and would love to find a really good DVD. It’s just so much fun. I also love being on my elliptical while watching a movie. In the Spring and Summer, I love walks, hikes, and bike riding.

No, I wouldn’t. I don’t feel comfortable stepping into someone else’s relationship. I actually experienced this once; I wasn’t certain, but I knew. I didn’t say anything. It destroyed our friendship, because she showed a side of herself that I couldn’t accept. My heart broke for her husband.

No, I couldn’t imagine another body in our home full time. I’d love one to stop by once a week though.

    I love birthdays!

LOL, I’m not sure what I’ve done in the last week that I’m particularly proud of…how about just making it through the week in relative peace. That’s always an accomplishment for a mom.

I just started doing Zumba, unfortunately I can’t seem to make it more than once a week. 🙁

I would encourage the friend to tell their spouse, but it sure would be awkward.

We had a live-in nanny/housekeeper for a year or two when I was little I LOVED it! My mom had 5 children under 7. Our housekeeper was a guy, a friend of my uncle’s from Sweden who wanted to come live in the US and needed a work visa. I would love to have a housekeeper, but wouldn’t need a nanny for just my two children.

I love my birthdays and am very proud of my 31 years, lol!

    Have a great Monday!
