This past weekend, we went to Walt Disney World for a few days of fun. We were especially excited to be there for the first few days of the 19th Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

Running March 7 – May 20, you’ll find beautiful topiaries on display throughout Epcot featuring classic Disney characters. Plus, on the weekends, designers from HGTV host sessions on landscape and design. The Flower Power Concert Series heats up the nights with performers from the 1960s and ’70s.
We had a lot of fun exploring the park looking for new topiaries. I’m hoping we can visit again before the end of the festival. We ran out of time and missed seeing the Pixie Hollow Fairy Garden, featuring Tinker Bell and friends. Plus, the Fairy Garden also has a play area for kids! I’ll keep you posted if we make a return trip!

We(myself, daughter and grandson) went yesterday. We had a very good time. I had not been to Epcot since my son’s 8th grade science class so about 15 years ago. Its amazing how they can get the topiaries shaped like they do! Leland did get to play in the Fairy Garden play area, Maggie and Molly would’ve loved playing in there. Maggie may never have left because they had a drawing sketch area where she could have colored. I would love to go back which I may since I did purchase the 3 days pass for Florida residents.

I am so glad you had a great time at Epcot, Pam! The Flower and Garden festival is so fun! We are going back in a few weeks and will definitely be going to the Fairy Garden this time. It sounds like fun! The three-day Florida resident pass is such a great bargain!

The Flower & Garden Fest is one of our favorite times at WDW. We love the Flower Power Concerts and are actually headed there tonight to see Starship.
I am always amazed by what those Imagineers can do with bushes and flowers – it could only be Disney magic. =)
