Spring has arrived in Florida! The weather has been absolutely fantastic this past week! Saturday morning, I packed a big picnic lunch and got the girls ready for a visit to the Riverside Arts Market. We had a great time browsing the local artist’s booths and checking out the local farmers selling produce.
The really fun part of our day was the picnic! Check out the amazing view from our favorite picnic spot! What’s not to love?!
We found a great park bench right along the Riverwalk and had a fun, little picnic. Maggie loved watching all of the boats go by and Molly just loved soaking up the sunshine. It was such a nice change of pace and I was thankful for the warm weather too.
This silly picture especially cracked me up. Maggie told me she wanted her picture taken with a boat, so I told her to say “cheese” but instead she struck a pose… so sassy!
I’m excited that we found this great spot. I have a feeling it’s the first of many picnics we’ll have there. Next time, we’ve got to make sure we take Daddy with us!

I am jealous of your waterfront picnic site! The farthest afield we’ve ever gone is the local park. Maybe we’ll have to remedy that.

I do love the two weeks of spring we get in FL before the humidity ruins it all LOL! Actually it has been nice for a while.
We don’t picnic much but we do bring picnic food to the beach and do the barbeque thing!
