Father’s Day Fingerpaint Gifts from Kids

by Carrie with Children with 16 comments

I’m not crafty….  at all. Thankfully, Maggie’s teacher this past school year had tons of great ideas for art projects involving fingerprints.  In Maggie’s year end portfolio, I found a few cards that weree just too cute not to share.

I thought they would make great gifts – especially with Father’s Day coming up!

It’s an inexpensive gift that doesn’t even involve a lot of supplies – paper, finger paints and a couple of little fingers!   And what kid doesn’t love to get a little messy while being creative?!  Check out the inside of this card – what a great memento for Dad.

Another one of my favorite cards that Maggie made at school features her hand prints!  She was particularly proud of this one and was so excited to tell us that those were her little hand prints on the inside.  Daddy was proud of this little card too.  It’s creative and fun!

Father's Day Handmade Card Idea

Isn’t it great that sometimes the most cherished gifts are the ones that don’t even cost a lot of money?  A handmade present can mean so much more…  especially when it’s made with little hands and filled with love!

What fun homemade gift ideas do you have for Father’s Day?

    We are still thinking of Fathers day gifts but this is super cute! {we may have to be copy cats.}

      I don’t mind a copy cat at all! It’s such a cute gift!

    This is why I could never be a teacher…I’m not creative enough. These are such cute ideas! I love little keepsakes with the kids’ handprints on them. Thanks for sharing!

    We got something similar to the “hands down” one from my daughter! Super cute ideas.

    I love seeing what they come home with everyday. Makes me want to be more creative too!

      Thanks Heather! I loved seeing Maggie come home with art projects too! She’s so proud of them!

    Handmade gifts are the best, even when your child gets older. My daughters both like to draw and write, so we cherish those kind of gifts. Love the card!

      I think handmade gifts are quickly becoming my favorite! I love seeing how proud and excited Maggie is about the gifts she’s made for us!
