Our backyard has been a mess for years.  A little small and usually overgrown with weeds, it’s always been on the “to do” list to fix up.  My husband has been working extra hard the last week or so to get our backyard ready for the summertime.  And the girls are loving it!

Some of my most favorite memories growing up took place in my own backyard.  So, it’s always been important to me that our girls have a great yard to play.  The yard is still a work in progress, but we finally have new (and beautiful) grass in the backyard.  And just in the last few days, we’ve had a share of soccer games, tag and races.

And their favorite spot in the backyard has to be the sandbox!   They’ve made castles and filled up a lot of buckets.

I am thrilled that we finally have a fun backyard!  The sandbox and slide are keeping them pretty busy.  We’ve got a few fun outdoor toys picked out for Molly’s birthday party this Saturday (eeek!).    I’m excited to see how she likes it.
