Five Question Friday – July 27

Yay for Friday!  It’s been super hot here this past week – too hot to even go outside.  I’m hoping we can get out for a bit and visit the Arts Market on Saturday.  I’m also a huge fan of the Olympics – so I’ll be glued to the television tonight for the Opening Ceremonies!  What are your plans for the weekend?

Let’s get to the questions..be sure and share your answers below!

Just a reminder, I’m linking up with others for Five Question Friday and I don’t make up the questions. Click on the button above to see a linky list of others also participating.

What is the funniest thing you saw on Facebook and/or Twitter this week?  Someone on Facebook shared an old picture of myself and a bunch of friends.  We were probably all 18 to 20 years old at the time .. and we looked like babies!   I had the worst haircut of all time.  It was great to reminisce over the picture… and no way am I sharing it here! 🙂

What is your favorite Olympic event?  This is a tough question!  I love gymnastics, diving and swimming the most.  It’s amazing to see how close in points and time the athletes are with one another. I love everything about the Olympics – and especially the summer games, those are my favorite!

Do your kids do chores around the house?  My girls are two- and three-years old.  I’m lucky if I can get them to clean up their toys at the end of the day.  I’m hoping to start Maggie in a regular routine of helping with some little chores though. Any suggestions?

If you get bad service/food – do you complain or keep quiet?   Depends on the place and the situation, I guess.  Typically, I stay quiet unless it’s just really unacceptable.

If you could pick ONE frivolous item for your home, what would it be?  I would have to choose an enormous kitchen with top of the line appliances and cookware.  My husband loves to cook and I try… but I love food.  The kitchen is such a centerpiece to a home, it would be amazing to have a huge kitchen.
