When traveling with toddlers, I love having extra room to spread out and most of all, a place to unwind at the end of the day once the kids are in bed.
The Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa provided us with all the comforts of home when we visited the Central Florida area last month.
With one to four bedrooms, each suite features a full-sized kitchen (including a dishwasher – with soap!), a living/dining area, a washer/dryer and my favorite – a large garden tub in the master bathroom. Housekeeping is available for an extra fee. With a large flat screen television in the living room, it was a nice surprise to find televisions in each of the bedrooms too.
Other great amenities of the resort include –
- Shuttle service to the theme parks – Sea World, Universal Studios Orlando and Disney World
- On-site restaurant and Pizza Hut (both with options for dining in or delivery)
- Mini-grocery store on property
- Reflections full service salon and spa
- Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlet – loved having a Carter’s store within walking distance!
My family’s favorite part of the resort was the fantastic Pirate Plunge pool! I especially loved the zero-entry access perfect for little ones to ease their way into the water.
The Pirate Plunge slide provides great thrills for older kids and adults. Little ones will also enjoy the poolside kids club activities in the afternoon – arts/crafts and even hairwraps! The Lani’s Luau poolside bar and grille had a great selection of food (hot pretzels – yum!) and it was great relaxing by the pool with a strawberry daiquiri too!
We enjoyed our stay at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa. From the friendly staff, to the spa, shopping and dining options – this resort is a perfect place for a family vacation!

This hotel is awesome, we stayed there last year. We had 7 adults and 1 toddler with a 3 bedroom suite and we had so much room. Our family looved it 🙂 I would highly recommend.
