Every six weeks, I write a guest column for my local newspaper, the Florida Times-Union. I love having the freedom to write about topics that are important to me and I especially love sharing stories about my journey as a special needs mom.
Last week’s blog post about preferred language and Down syndrome served as a great inspiration for me with this month’s column. I expanded on the topic, but also shared more about our journey through the world of special needs.
Entitled “Learning the Language of Special Needs“, I’d love for you to stop by and read today’s column.
What questions do you have about preferred language and Down syndrome?
