Barbie: The Princess & The Popstar DVD and Dolls

This past month, I introduced my girls to one of my childhood favorite toys.  Barbies! To say they were excited would be an understatement – they were ecstatic!

The latest Barbie “must have” – Barbie: The Princess & The Popstar features a lively DVD and a pair of dolls (all sold separately), bringing their story to life!

Barbie The Princess and The Popstar Dolls

The Princess & The Popstar Barbie Dolls

These dolls were a huge hit with my girls.  As soon as we opened the box, I knew Maggie was going to fall in love with the dolls – a princess and a singer… her two favorite things!

Each of the dolls have the ability to change outfits, by turning the clothes inside-out.  One side – a princess, the other side looks like a popstar!  The doll’s hair can change between blonde/pink and brown/purple (thanks to a scalp that rotates!) – completing the overall princess/popstar look.

Another unique piece to each of the dolls is their sparkling necklace! Press the necklace and hear Barbie sing a song from the movie!  Each of these dolls have fun, interactive aspects – making them both so much more than a regular doll. My girls love them!

Barbie: The Princess & The Popstar DVD

The new Barbie: The Princess & The Popstar DVD tells a story of great values and will leave your little one singing! In this latest story, Barbie as Princess Tori – who dreams of being famous like her favorite popstar Keira. And she’s not the only one hoping for a different lifestyle – Keira dreams to live the life of a princess!

Barbie The Princess and The Popstar DVD

This is a great DVD filled with catchy songs and a positive message.  My girls loved dancing and singing along with Keira! They even watched the entire movie with their Princess & the Popstar dolls right beside them.

Barbie: The Princess & The Popstar DVD is available in stores with a retail price of $19.99. With the holidays coming up soon – this DVD along with the Barbie and Keira dolls would make a perfect gift!

Do your little ones enjoy Barbies?

LOL, I can’t picture the “scalp that rotates”. I have a certain niece who would absolutely love these!

LOL. That was the only way I could think to describe it! It’s kinda like turning her “hat” from front to back.. maybe?! 🙂 Regardless, it’s a really great doll! Promise!

Those are so cute! My niece is obsessed with Barbie, I’ll have to tell my sister about this. And I love that the movie has a positive message.

My 2 girls (6&9) LOVE Barbie. My 2 year old son enjoys playing with Barbie’s too…only he plays differently than his sisters. Barbie turns into a superhero or crashes her jeep into the castle. I can’t wait to see how my youngest son (3 months old with Down Syndrome) plays with his siblings and Barbie 🙂
