Sitting down together as a family for dinner is extremely important to me. It’s the times where we can relax and catch up on the happenings of each other’s day. Whether it’s Maggie’s silly school stories or what happened in the news that day – it’s a time of togetherness and family. Some days are harder than others when it comes to getting a good meal on the dinner table.
Last Tuesday, between juggling the upcoming Buddy Walk and the arrival of Halloween, I just didn’t have enough time to cook dinner. I wanted great food with little effort on my part. So, I decided we’d treat ourselves to Carrabba’s to-go – I ordered dinner online from the Carrabba’s site and my husband stopped by on his way home from work to pick up our order. (How easy is that?!)
Great minds apparently think alike, because my husband and I both ended up ordering the same entree – the new Chicken Bryan Ravioli with Sirloin Marsala. Paired with a house salad and fried calamari for our appetizer – we had tons of food! And my favorite part? They even gave us bread and olive oil/spices for dipping sauce too! It was just like being in the restaurant!
Carrabba’s saved the day and we were able to enjoy a fantastic dinner…and an even better family conversation! We loved talking to Maggie about the next day’s Halloween festivities at school!
I’m already looking forward to having that Chicken Bryan Ravioli again soon… all from the comforts of my pajamas!
Dinner with my family is one of the most important parts of our day. Whether you are dinning in or ordering online to-go, Carrabba’s helps bring your family together during the week.
