This Saturday, November 10th is Neighborhood Toy Store Day!
In conjunction with the American Speciality Toy Retailing Association, Neighborhood Toy Store Day celebrates stores commitment to the local community as well as introducing families to shopping locally!
My family and I believe in the importance of shopping locally. It’s a great way to support local businesses and allow dollars to stay within your own community. Other benefits include –
- Economic stability
- Community Development
- Reduced environmental impact
- A diverse selection of products

I like the cute Puppet on a stick toy. Will have to check our local “The Chalkboard” store to see if any specials they may have had.. it is our favorite place to go, when we need a gift. The kids like playing with all the toys that are on display, we can actually see what each toy looks like outside of the packaging.. it is also a favorite for teachers to shop for visual aids and toys they need for their classrooms… I love browsing all the selections they have, you can spend a afternoon inside and the kids don’t get bored!
