Happy Friday everyone! We are having a belated Christmas celebration with my husband’s side of the family this weekend! It’s been unusually warm here in Florida this week, so I’m sure we’ll spend some time playing outside too. What are your plans for the weekend?
Let’s get to the questions..be sure and share your answers below!
Just a reminder, I’m linking up with others for Five Question Friday and I don’t make up the questions. Click on the button above to see a linky list of others also participating.
If you were going to be stuck on a deserted island, which 5 books, movies, people and foods would you take along? Books – To Kill A Mockingbird, another book called Mockingbird, not sure what else. Movies – Five Will Ferrel movies. Food – fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, pizza and Mountain Dew.
What is your thought on year-round schools? I’m not even sure I have an opinion! I don’t think we have any schools in my area that are year-round.
What is your most embarassing potty story? Um.. next question.
What’s the temperature where you are? This past week, it’s been in the mid- to high- 70s. Yesterday and today it is in the low 60s during the day and 30s at night – so cold for Florida!
Are you a winter/spring/fall/summer person? I guess I am a spring and summer kinda gal. Summertime it is too hot outside and wintertime it’s too cold! Spring and fall are just right for being outside!

My 5 books would be the trilogy of Fifty Shades of Grey, To Kill a Mockingbird and Charles Manson by Vincent Buglioso. Movies would be Saturday Night Fever, Dirty Dancing, Grease, Mama Mia and Austin Powers. Food-lobster, eggs, pizza, butter for lobster and dr pepper.
I do not agree with year round schools, not that there are any in this area. Too much time away to forget things learned, no time for kids to be kids.
Will pass on the potty.
Temps past 8 days close to 80, cold and windy today, little bit of rain yesterday.
I would have to say spring and fall also, perfect temps not too cold or hot.
