We turned this past weekend into a three-day weekend and hit the road to visit friends… our Disney friends!  It was a quick day trip filled with lots of smiles, laughter and a few toddler tears. Overall, it was the perfect family day for us.

The girls were thrilled to see their friend Mickey and thanks to a short line – we also had the chance to meet Minnie in her new home as part of the Storybook Circus.

I was especially excited because I finally talked Maggie into going on “It’s a Small World” ride.  It was always one of my favorite rides as a little girl – all the bright lights, the pretty dolls dressed up in beautiful costumes – and of course, the song!

My favorite part on the ride has always been the room with the big hippo – the little look on his face and his little eyes that light up – I just love it!

There’s nothing better than spending the day at Walt Disney World with your family. Later this week, I’ll tell you more about our magical day – including pictures from our favorite parade!
