I am not a fashion girl. I wish I was, but honestly – I just never know what looks good. However, that all changed when I got my hands on the new Oz themed Urban Decay makeup and OPI nail polish.
A few weeks ago, when I attended the world premiere of Oz The Great and Powerful in California, I actually wore both the OPI nail polish and the Glinda line of Urban Decay makeup. I felt like a movie star!
Urban Decay Oz Themed Makeup
The Oz themed color palettes come in two separate varieties – a Glinda line with pinks and peach colors, the Theodora line is much darker with green, black and browns mixed in. Each set also comes with eyeliner and a lip liner/gloss.
After trying out both varieties – I stuck with the Glinda palette. I just really loved the light colors, they seemed to pop against my brown eyes. What I especially loved about this makeup was that it included a “paint by number” kit of exactly how to use the colors on your eyes. SO helpful for a rookie fashionista like myself.
OPI Oz Themed Nail Polish
I have terrible real nails, so I splurge and get acrylic nails often. The only polish I like to use on my nails is Opi Polish. It’s strong, doesn’t chip easily and their variety of colors is just beautiful.
For my trip to California for the big movie premiere, I wore “Don’t Burst My Bubble” – it was the perfect color for me. Not too loud and easily matched each of my outfits for the trip. The new Oz colors include “I Theodora You”, “Don’t Burst My Bubble”, “Glints of Glinda” and “What Wizardry is This?” .
Thank you Urban Decay and Opi Nail Polish for making me feel like a true movie star on the red carpet at the Oz The Great and Powerful world premiere! I’m excited to continue wearing the makeup and the pretty polish too!
