Share Breakfast with Kellogg’s and Those In Need #sharebreakfast

Did you know that 1 in 5 kids may go without breakfast every day?  No one should ever go hungry. Ever.

In conjunction with National Breakfast Week, the new Kellogg’s campaign Share Breakfast is bringing awareness to this important cause.  My family and I are doing our part to make sure that every child gets the vital nutrition they need for a healthy, thriving life.

I want every child to realize their full potential.  And to me, it all starts with having breakfast in the morning.

Some days are easier at our house when it comes to getting my girls to eat their breakfast.  And even though they are still very young, I talk to them about the importance of having a good breakfast each day. Besides all of the fantastic nutritional values, children are also getting the necessary nutrients with breakfast that are typically lacking in a child’s diet.  Children are more attentive at school, have better attendance and are more active in their every day life with a good breakfast.

And just as important as the nutritional value, breakfast at our house is a time of the day that we can spend together as a family.

Here’s how you can help share breakfast –

I encourage you to check out the Kellogg’s infographic below, the statistics shown are astonishing.  Kids who eat breakfast generally have more energy and focus for learning.
