Last week, during my press trip to the Microsoft Campus, I had the opportunity to take a look into the future of technology. Microsoft’s new Envisioning Center, located in Redmond, Washington explores how technology will transform our lives and our future.
Check out this video featuring some of the cool things we saw inside Microsoft’s Envisioning Center. I couldn’t help but refer to it as “a magic show” – there were so many imaginative things on display and just seeing this technology in action was incredible.
I love the way the folks at Microsoft describe the Envisioning Center …
“…a concept car that allows us to share what it might be like to experience future technologies with visitors, get their feedback, tweak, remix and discuss. It’s all part of advancing the trends we think have the greatest potential.”

My favorite part of the entire Envisioning Center was the kitchen. I know I’d be a better cook if I had a virtual chef cooking alongside me each night. Did you catch the part in the video where he held up a pepper and a list of possible recipes appeared on the screen? That is just too cool!
What’s your favorite part of Microsoft’s Envisioning Center video?
**I was an invited guest of Microsoft on this trip. I am a member of the Windows Champions blogger program. As part of this arrangement, I have been loaned a Windows PC for the course of year and have the opportunity to learn about Windows and Microsoft products. **
