It’s been awhile since I’ve talked technology, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t love my Lenovo Yoga IdeaPad Windows 8 PC…  because, trust me, I absolutely LOVE it.  I’m having so much fun with a lot of great apps, so today I’m sharing my favorites with you!

Draw a Stick Man

I’ll go ahead and warn you that the Draw A Stickman game is highly addictive.  Draw your own stick figure and then take off on an adventure to find your stick friends. From the looks of the drawings, it may look like a simple game, but I assure it’s a great challenge.

The justWink app allows you to send super cute greeting cards directly from my computer.  Choose a template and then customize it as much (or as little) as you’d like.  With a touchscreen PC, you can even sign your own name to the card.  How cool is that?!

AllRecipes

When I visited Seattle a few months ago on the #Win8OfficeVisit, we had a chance to visit the headquarters for AllRecipes.com.  I’ve been a big fan of their site for years, but since our visit I’ve also fallen in love with the AllRecipes app!

It’s extremely visual and there are over 40,000 recipes – you’ll definitely find more than a few things  to cook!

Accuweather

As part of my job as the VISIT FLORIDA Family Insider, we travel quite a bit as a family.  I always rely on the Accuweather app for the latest weather news.   I really like the weather radars on this app – I can pinpoint exactly where the storms are and where they are headed too.

I’ve been using Windows 8 for a few months now and I’ve loved discovering new apps.  My girls are constantly wanting to play with my computer – so many games!

What are your favorite Windows 8 apps?
