Yesterday, we packed up the girls and headed out for a fun lunch at Clark’s Fish Camp. It’s a great place here in Jacksonville, that not a lot of folks know about (but should!) and they have spectacular views and food! We got lucky and snagged a waterfront view and Maggie couldn’t have been happier!
You know it’s going to be a great place to eat when they give you a roll of paper towels at your table and you see a sign asking you to not feed the alligators. (And no, we didn’t see any gators on this visit… I’ve seen them there before though!) Welcome to Florida!
Maggie could hardly stay in her seat, she was so busy looking for fish and waving at the boaters and jet skiers as they’d pass by the restaurant.
I was so impressed with the girls and their great manners at lunch. As with all toddlers, dining out can be a bit hectic and not always a fun experience. I’m not sure if it was just being able to eat outside or just a new setting, but both Maggie and Molly were just the perfect little angels. I was proud of them!
Maybe their good manners are a sign of things to come with us going out to eat! (And I hope I didn’t jinx myself by saying it outloud!)
