Every year, Buddy Walks are held across the country raising awareness and support for individuals with Down Syndrome. Held in support with the folks from the National Down Syndrome Society, these walks are tons of fun with over 250 of them being held nationwide.
This past year, the North East Mississippi Down Syndrome Society sponsored the Buddy Walk at Sea on a cruise ship! How cool is that?! This video was just too fun not to share it!
And even cooler, did you know that there is such a thing as a Buddy Cruise?! The Buddy Cruise takes place typically in October (Down syndrome awareness month) and is a trip filled with activities, seminars and tons of fun. (I want to go!)
