Football is a big part of our life. My husband and I are huge fans and live for the cooler months, as it’s finally football season! From the day Maggie was born, she’s spent time on the couch with Daddy watching football.
This past Saturday night, Maggie had a daddy/daughter date night to the NFL Jaguars scrimmage. It was special because it was a night for just the two of them, but especially because it was her first time in the stadium! She couldn’t have been more excited!
I stayed home with Molly (too late and too loud for her), but I couldn’t stop checking my phone for updates to see how their night was turning out. And each picture and text I received just made my smile even more. My little girl was growing up and was so happy to spend time with her Daddy doing his favorite thing – cheering on his favorite Jaguars football team.
When they got home, I’m not sure who was smiling more – Daddy or Maggie. They had such a great night and even stopped for an ice cream snack on the way home.
The next day, Maggie asked if we could go buy her a Jaguars shirt. She’s their newest fan!
