The weather is finally starting to cool off again and it’s starting to feel like fall outside! I’ve always associated Fall with food, so this past week, we packed up the girls and visited our neighborhood LongHorn Steakhouse to check out their new Fall menu and Chef’s Selection menu.
The Fall Peak Season menu features seasonal dishes inspired by fall festivals, fruits and vegetables – sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, apples and pumpkins.
My husband loves mushrooms, so the new Porcini Portobello Ribeye steak was the obvious choice for him. He paired it with the seasonal Brussels Sprouts Au Gratin with bacon in a cheesy cream sauce topped with provolone and parmesan bread crumbs. There wasn’t an ounce left of food on his plate – he said it was fantastic!
It was a tough decision between a steak and the new Pork Osso Buco, but I couldn’t pass up a good deal – I went with the three-course steak dinner for $12.99 (bargain)!
It came with a salad, a 6oz Renegade sirloin, one side item (I chose a baked potato) and my choice of either a peanut butter cup sundae or cinnamon sugar dough bites for dessert. It was a perfect meal and I was loving the price!
So now, that I’ve got you hungry and wanting a steak dinner – check out www.longhornbold.
