This weekend, I’m headed to one of my all-time favorite cities – Nashville, Tennessee! The music, the food – I love everything about Nashville (except the NFL Titans – go Jaguars)!
The Keen Digital Summit is October 24-27th and I am thrilled to be attending, a special shout out to the Clever Girls Collective – I won their free conference pass giveaway. The conference focuses on the digital world with breakout sessions on marketing, travel, food/entertainment and technology. I’m most excited to attend the session about perfect blog pitches – I could use help! There are so many great sessions scheduled and I am excited to learn too.
And while I”m super excited to learn and see some old (and new friends), I’m hoping to squeeze in some time for sightseeing too. The host hotel for the conference is the brand new Omni Nashville Hotel – it has only been open a few weeks and looks fantastic.
One of the restaurants at the hotel even has a ‘biscuits bar’ – there are going to be a lot of biscuits and gravy in my future! Yum!

The hotel is also right next door to the Country Music Hall of Fame – I’m a huge country music fan and the Hall of Fame is a special place. I’ve got some free time on Thursday before the conference starts, so I’m hoping to spend some time there soaking up the history.
One of my favorite places at the Hall of Fame is the Rotunda featuring all of the plaques of those inducted into the hall. It’s a great place for reflection and paying tribute to musical legends.

I’ll be sure and take good notes at the conference and share what I learned with you when I get home.
Be sure to follow along with my adventures on Twitter at @CarrieWChildren and check out my pictures on Instagram too.
Have any ‘must see’ spots I should visit in Nashville?
** I am paying my own way to the Keen Digital Summit. The Clever Girls Collective provided me with a complimentary conference pass, however I was not asked to write or promote it. **
