Northeast Florida: Microsoft Store Opens This Week! #windowschampions #MicrosoftFL

I fell in love with Microsoft Stores a little over a year ago while on vacation in Orlando.  Being able to pick up and touch a PC and have a Microsoft expert there to answer questions – so cool. You even have the ability to make an appointment with experts to learn tips, tricks and even troubleshooting. And it’s not just PCs – you can see the latest in Windows phones and XBoxes too!

I’m very interested to learn more about their TechTots programming and summer camps for kids – doesn’t that sound like fun?!

As I begin my third year in the Microsoft Windows Champions blogger program, I’m super excited that a Microsoft Store is opening right here in my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida on Friday, November 22nd at the St. Johns Town Center. Visit the official Microsoft Store Jacksonville for all of the specifics surrounding the opening events.  I can already see myself spending a lot of time there!

And just like all other store openings – this one includes music!  Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are performing a concert for 1,500 lucky fans.  (I was secretly hoping for my boyfriend Dierks Bentley, but oh well.)  Here’s the scoop on the festivities –

If you want to be one of the lucky folks to receive tickets to the concert, check out the official Grand Opening Facebook event page for the details. It sounds like it’s going to be a HUGE event.

Let me know if you’ll be at any of the festivities this weekend!  Be sure to follow along with me on Twitter at @CarrieWChildren. For the latest news, check out @MicrosoftStore and also see the official hashtag for the opening #MicrosoftFL.

Have you ever visited a Microsoft Store?

**I am a member of the Windows Champions blogger program. As part of this arrangement, I have been loaned a Windows 8 PC  and tablet for the course of year and have the opportunity to learn about Windows and Microsoft products. I’m also excited to share information with you.**
