Wanna know my dirty, little secret? (Pun intended!) I use a dish sponge to clean my kitchen table, dishes and counter tops. And while it traps dirt, grimy food and more – it’s also filled with germs and bacteria.
The folks at Bounty DuraTowel recently challenged me to use a new dishcloth for three days and then mail it to them so they could measure it for germs. (How scary is that?!) I couldn’t resist the challenge.
And wow, did their challenge convince me to ‘Ditch and Switch” to the new DuraTowel. That nasty dishtowel I was using? My dishtowel came back with over 15,000 RLUs. An unused, clean dishcloth is only 300 RLUs. A hotel comforter registers at 8,000 RLUs and the television remort is 7,000 RLUs – that dingy towel I was using was double that number.
So, I probably don’t need to tell you that we’ve officially ditched the dishcloth. The new Bounty DuraTowel is thick and very strong. It stands strong when scrubbing surfaces and I feel better about having a cleaner kitchen too.
Bounty exposed my dirty dishcloth and showed me the cleaner way to clean with Bounty DuraTowel, the only cloth-like, durable paper towel that is clinically proven to leave surfaces three times cleaner than a germy dishcloth.* Find out more here!
