A Look Inside Disney’s Seven Dwarfs Mine Train #rockyourdisneyside

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is the final piece of Walt Disney World’s New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park and it is opening to the public on May 28! We’ve watched construction grow throughout the past year and I’m ecstatic that the time is finally here!

As part of my role as the VISIT FLORIDA Family Insider, I had the opportunity to preview this new ride last week and it’s true to the classic tale and offers fantastic views of the park from high atop the mountain.

The ride features a high-tech, system that allows the ride cars to pivot back and forth throughout the journey. It’s an extra twist (no pun intended) that makes this coaster ride a bit more thrilling. At the midpoint of the ride, guests enter the mine and see scenes of the dwarfs busy at work. We even spotted a few Hidden Mickeys in the mine.

Disney Imagineers worked directly with animators to create a new lifelike look for the dwarfs and it shows – they are incredibly real and it’s breathtaking.

With a height restriction of just 38 inches, this ride is considered a coaster for the entire family. As you make your way into the line for the ride – don’t miss checking out the fun, interactive game that allows you to sort jewels and even make your own music.

To see more pictures of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, check out the VISIT FLORIDA Family Facebook page photo album.

Take a seat and check out this ride-through video of Magic Kingdom Park’s newest attraction – the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – it doesn’t show you everything, no spoilers here – but you’ll feel the thrills just by watching it.

Are you excited to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train?

I LOVE that the height restriction is so low! This looks like such a fun ride…much better than Snow White’s Scary Adventure at Disneyland–that ride gives me the creeps.

Yes – everyone can ride together! This isn’t a dark ride at all – just fast with lots of thrills!
