Between my personal travels and my role as the , I am on the road quite often. And I never leave home without my technology – it is my lifeline.

Reasons to Travel with Microsoft Surface Pro 3
As a member of the Microsoft Bloggers program, I’ve been using the Surface Pro 3 over the past few months and it has quickly become my full-time PC when traveling.

Here’s a look at some of my favorite features of the Surface Pro 3

Compatibility

With the slender size of the Surface Pro 3, I can keep it in my purse or fit it comfortably in my bookbag. At only 1.76 pounds it is extremely lightweight and easy to travel with on trips.

Full-sized keyboard

While it also has tablet capabilities, the Surface Pro 3 offers a full-sized keyboard, meaning I don’t have to compromise my own work with keyboard adjustments. With 5 different colors available for purchase, I like being able to personalize my PC and show off a little of my own personality too.

Screen size

While it may be lightweight, the screen size has not diminished with the Surface Pro 3. Coming in with a 12 inch screen, I don’t feel like I’ve had to compromise – it’s a great size for me and honestly, it’s just as large (if not larger) than the screen on my laptop. It is very easy to read and use.

Kickstand

The Surface Pro 3 features a kickstand that allows you to adjust it at numerous angles, I can type comfortably with it in my lap or any surface. Just last week, I used my Surface on a long flight and got tons of work done right from my seat.

Adapters

I work solely from an external hard drive and thanks to the USB post, I can access my work with ease. The Surface Pro 3 even has a mini-SD card slot, so I can even transfer photos from my camera directly to the PC.

The Surface Pro 3 has easily served as a replacement for my laptop. I can do everything I typically do at home, with the Surface Pro 3. I’m excited for more travels with this PC – you never know where our travels will take us!

What PC features are important to you when traveling?

I totally need this. When I am in the city between events, it would be so much easier to get work done.

This sounds great! The full size keyboard is a must for me, and love that it is one but is still so lightweight. Hauling around a heavy laptop is no way to travel.
