It’s been a frustrating few days for me and I’ve been overdue for a good glass of wine. So it was perfect timing this week that I received MommyJuice Wines to review. When I ran across their Twitter account a few weeks ago, I instantly fell in love with the name MommyJuice Wines….because really, isn’t that what every mom calls their glass of wine?
MommyJuice Wines offers both a red and a white wine. The red is 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 3% Malbec, 2% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. The white is 100% Chardonnay.
I’m a Chardonnay girl, so last night I enjoyed a glass (or two..or three) and it was delicious! The fruity flavors weren’t too overpowering and it was very smooth. This may sound silly, but the thing I enjoyed the most?! The twist off top. Am I the only one who practically kills themselves trying to uncork a bottle of wine? As a mom, the last thing I need to do is more work…just to enjoy a glass of wine. So, kudos to MommyJuice for a twist off top!
A few facts about MommyJuice Wines –
- Red Wine – Aromas of bright berry fruits. Plums, tobacco and a subtle floral note. Full and rich flavors of blueberries, blackberries and dried cherries. Dried plums and a little anise spice round off the wonderfully smooth finish.
- White Wine – Aromas of tropical fruit salad—pineapples, guava and bananas. Hints of lemon grass and citrus rind as well. Kiwi, lime and a hit of grassiness round out this very fruit forward Chardonnay.
The suggested retail price for this wine is $9.99 – I consider that a bargain! I would certainly pay more for this wine….it’s that good.
While I’m sad MommyJuice Wines isn’t available in stores here in Florida (yet), I am super excited to see that you can buy it directly from the MommyJuice Wines site. You can also find a listing on their site of stores/restaurants that sell MommyJuice.
**I received a complimentary bottle of white and red wine from MommyJuice Wines for the purpose of this review. All opinions here are my own and not influenced by others. **
