I love surprises and I love doing nice things for others… so my latest task with Collective Bias was a really fun project just in time for Halloween! I had the opportunity to create a “Boo Box” for a blogging friend from the Collective Bias community, Social Fabric. Never heard of a Boo Box? It’s a fun, care package of Halloween goodies!
The recipient of my Boo Box was one of my first blogging friends. (I can’t tell you her name because that would ruin the surprise!) I think we first “met” on Twitter and she was the first blogger to really help me get my feet wet in the blogosphere…and she still does, almost every day! When our families met last year, it was an instant friendship for our husbands and kids. This is the first Maggie has been excited for Halloween, so I packed up the girls and headed out to WalMart for some Boo Box supplies!
It was a no brainer that you can’t have a Boo Box without chocolate…and lots of it! The Halloween candy aisle offered a great variety of candy and prices too. It was a tough decision, but we decided on Snickers, Twix, Milky Way and some of the new white chocolate candy corn M&Ms.
We also picked up some crayons and coloring books for my friend’s little one. Maggie loves to color so we thought her friend would like a surprise too! (And I ended up buying Maggie a book too – only 97cents!)

Hi Carrie…The Boo Box is a grand idea! You know, I’ve been a reader of your blog for some time and it just dawned on me that we both live in Jacksonville! I wonder if we’ve ever bumped into each other and didn’t know it!
Anyway, I hope you’re enjoying the cool weather…I know I am!
