Maclaren Introduces Stroller to Benefit Muscular Dystrophy Charity

by Carrie with Children with 1 comment

I love when companies partner with charitable organizations! Maclaren recently partnered with Charley’s Fund to raise funds and awareness into finding a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). The “I Believe” Triumph buggy is an exclusive Maclaren stroller featuring a special universal organizer and raincover.  Charley’s Fund receives 100% of the proceeds of this exclusive buggy.

Learn more about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

The organization’s goal is to cure DMD in time to save Charley Seckler’s (the organizations namesake) life and the lives of thousands of boys like him. DMD is the most common fatal genetic disorder to affect children around the world.  Children with DMD cannot produce dystrophin, a protein necessary for muscle strength and function.  As a result, every skeletal muscle in the body deteriorates.  Although Duchenne is the most common fatal genetic disorder to affect children, there is no cure.

Want to show your support?  The “I Believe” Buggy Supporting Charley’s Fund is available exclusively at the Maclaren online store for $195. Don’t forget, all proceeds of the sale go to Charley’s Fund.
