It’s Time for Preschool!

Tomorrow is a big day for our family….Maggie starts preschool!  I guess, it’s not exactly preschool but more like a “Mom’s Morning Out” program, but we are calling it school.  We visited the program a few weeks ago and were thrilled with it and most importantly, Maggie was too.  She’s going three days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. I’m excited for Maggie to experience a new atmosphere, interact with other kids her age, have fun and learn too!

With this new adventure, I’m not just excited for Maggie…. I’m also excited for Molly!  This will give Molly some alone time with just mommy!  We’ve never had time with just the two of us, so we’ll be having some fun together while Maggie is at school.  We’ll also now being going to Molly’s weekly therapy sessions on our own – no Maggie.  I’m sad that she won’t be joining us, but I know it’s for the best.

I’ll keep you posted on how Maggie’s first day of school!  I’m excited to see how she adjusts to a new place and new faces too!  I’m anxious to see how Molly reacts without her sister around for a few hours each day.  And let’s hope I keep my nerves together too!

What was your little’s one experience with preschool?

I hope the transition has gone well, Carrie! I have no doubt that Maggie has been loving school… and I’m sure Molly is relishing the time with Mom, too! 🙂

Thank you! It has been a flawless transition! She is loving school! Molly and I are enjoying our alone time too 🙂

  • Audrey's mom

Audrey loves preschool. She is in a Montessori program and they attend 5 days a week. I thought she would miss me but I was wrong! They want to be around others their own age.
