New York City’s The Hotel Wolcott and Me!

BlogHer '12 I am so excited to tell you that in just a few weeks, I’ll be making my way to New York City for the BlogHer’12 conference.  This conference welcomes thousands of bloggers from across the country for education seminars, networking opportunities and professional development.  Check out my adventures from BlogHer’11 in San Diego!

I’m even more excited to tell you that while I’m in New York, I’ll be staying at The Hotel Wolcott – just a few blocks from the Empire State Building and just steps from Madison Square Garden and Macy’s Herald Square.

This historic property was recently named a New York City landmark and first opened in 1904 – such a rich history!  The intricate old-world architectural details and décor were designed by John H. Duncan, the famed architect of Grant’s Tomb.  That is pretty amazing!

The Hotel Wolcott prides itself on being an affordable property with reasonable rates while still offering all the comforts of home.  I’m looking forward to the complimentary muffins and coffee each morning.

The last (and only time) I visited New York City was in 2002, so I’m hoping to sneak in some sightseeing before the conference begins.  I hope the Wolcott’s friendly concierge is ready for me – I’ve got a lot of questions!

Are you going to Blogher’12?   If so, let me know!  I’d love to meet you!

** I have received complimentary accommodations for my trip, in exchange for sharing news and my experience at the Hotel Wolcott, .  Thoughts and opinions here are 100% my own and not influenced by others. **
