We’ve been working on potty training with Maggie for the last few months.  Maggie just wasn’t ready… until recently.  We started having “big kid potty breaks” and using stickers for rewards and so far, so good!  She’s starting to catch on and loves seeing how many princess stickers she can get each day.

One afternoon, I visited the Pull-Ups site for some potty training tips.  I learned that you can have a Disney character call your little one to encourage them to take breaks. You can choose between Mater from ‘Cars’ or Cinderella, set the time and date and then wait for the call!

We’ve really made a lot of progress these past few days.  I’m sure we’ll have the occasional accidents, but I think we are headed in the right direction to using the ‘big girl’ potty all of the time now. She is getting used to the ‘potty breaks’ and the princess stickers are really starting to stack up!  (Which reminds me, I need to get some more soon!)

It makes me so happy to see her excited and so proud of herself.  She is turning into a big kid right before my eyes!
