With the fear of Hurricane Sandy among us, I wasn’t sure if we’d make it to the pumpkin patch this past weekend or not. Thankfully, we ended up not even seeing any rain – just some wind and overcast skies.
The girls were excited to finally go and pick out our pumpkin – believe it or not, this was our first trip to the pumpkin patch.. ever!
We had a great time and Maggie insisted on bringing her binoculars along to find the “perfect pumpkin”. She did a lot of searching, but thankfully she decided on one and declared it the “golden pumpkin”. (I have no idea what that even means.)
We had a fun afternoon at the pumpkin patch! I’m so thankful that the weather cooperate for us. Now… we’ve gotta get to carving our pumpkin! The hard part is deciding on what to make with it!
Have you been to the Pumpkin Patch yet?!

It looks like the girls had a fun first time at the pumpkin patch. Maggie is too funny with those binoculars!
We finally got out for our annual pumpkin patch visit yesterday and actually bought a pumpkin this time after Rylie insisted that we needed one to carve. Hopefully I’ll have time tonight to get my 6,000 pictures posted. 😉

Maggie was *very* serious about those binoculars 🙂
I can’t wait to see your pumpkin patch pictures.. and the pictures of your carved pumpkin too!
