We decorated our Christmas tree on Wednesday night.  It was kind of a spur of the moment thing, since Hubby is going out of town for work soon and we wanted him to join us for the decorating.

I didn’t even realize until we were almost done decorating that the Charlie Brown Christmas special was coming on at the same time.  It was like fate!  It’s one of my favorite Christmas specials and I really wanted my girls to watch it too.  So, with our tree lights twinkling in the other room, we kicked off the Christmas season with Snoopy and the gang.

I loved seeing Maggie and Molly so interested in the show.. and my husband and I talked about how it reminded us of our own childhood. Linus always makes me cry a little when he gives the speech about the true meaning of Christmas.
