This past weekend was one filled with Disney. Probably moreso than usual – at least for us.
On Friday night, we went to see the Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream show! I still can’t get over how much fun we had at the show – the girls were dancing and singing along the entire show. Maggie was especially excited that we were able to meet Rapunzel while we were there.
Saturday, we celebrated my niece’s fifth birthday with a fun dinosaur party – complete with a bouncy house! It was a beautiful day to be outside.
After the party, we hopped in the car and made our way to Walt Disney World! We spent a few hours in Epcot – checking out all the fun topiaries and food selections as part of the Flower and Garden Festival.
Sunday, we did something we don’t do very often – we went to the Animal Kingdom! I was especially excited for Maggie because this park is the only place you can actually meet Pocahontas! She loves watching that movie – we watch it at least twice a week. She was so incredibly excited to see her “friend”.
Maggie talked most of our car ride how about how excited she was to finally see Pocahontas. I’ve never seen her that happy about meeting a character before – so cute!
We had an action packed weekend and I loved every minute of it. But, I’m also secretly hoping that both my girls decided to take naps this afternoon! A mom can dream, right?
