My girls love books and it’s important to me for the books we read to be fun, but educational in some way too. In our current rotation of books are the new set of PLAY-DOH Board Books.
These five books feature bright colors, great characters and great stories too. Each of the objects in the book are sculpted PLAY-DOH figures, something that all toddlers are familiar with seeing. My oldest daughter, Maggie especially likes the Mama’s Little Ducklings book because it also features a flap to lift on each page as you search for Mama Duck’s missing egg!
Check out this great listing of books –
-
PLAY-DOH: Mama’s Little Ducklings – One of Mama Duck’s eggs is on a roll! Where could it be?
- PLAY-DOH: My First Words – This book introduces young readers to a wonderful world of words with over 50 labeled illustrations!
- PLAY-DOH: Counting Bunnies – Ten silly bunnies teach kids to count from one to ten!
- PLAY-DOH: Making Shapes with Monkey– Monkey uses shapes to make all kinds of useful items for his friends.
-
PLAY-DOH: Rainbow Butterflies – Butterflies in all the colors of the rainbow subtly hide for young readers to discover.
These books are a fun and quick read right before bedtime. I particularly love that in addition to a great storyline, the books have fun activities – finding shapes hidden on the pages, naming colors and allowing kids to point out the words/objects they see on pages.
Think your little one would enjoy these books? Here’s your chance to win a set of five PLAY-DOH books (open to US residents only!)
